I found a guy here in Ft wayne that for some reason had access to a Ford Manual with ALL the gear ratios in cars up until now, this is including the name of the transmission and in some cases, what car they were in. the 2nd gen 1.8L GT engine had a Transmission called the M5 and here are the Gear ratios:
1st: 3.30
2nd: 1.83
3rd: 1.31
4th: 1.03
5th: 0.79
I have been looking for this FOREVER! the ZX2 transmission, named G5M (which is also in the Probe 2.5L), is the same except that 1st is 3.310, 4th is .970 and 5th is .750.
