oh yeah i had my eye on the klze sway. butt i to deep in the cvh to back out
was this with the 1.9-2.0 or mazda motor
I have the 1.8 mazda engine but depending what you're trying to build there is a combo that will work, like i described above.
I was going to attempt the toytoa e153 on the cvh
You would need to have someone make you a one-off adapter plate then. To do that will be very, very expensive (i.e., you can probably buy a nice clean EGT for less). Trust me, I've been there.
I'm having a batch of the BP x E153 plates made as we speak, if you're interested. The price for the plates will be $350ish.
soon as i get. chance find the e153 trans having it in shop see what i working with i know i going to need a adapter plate
So what's top end on a 95 LX with a 1.9 and automatic? I always wanted to know. Fastest I've had mine is 105mph, and that's only because I ran out of space. (Stock, well maintained, 150k on it).
the top speed of the 2nd gen is ~110mph which is electronically governed
I've been well beyond the 120mph max speedometer. If any are governed at all, they're not all governed.
I have hit mine, maybe auto are different but it's like the car gives up and the RPMs cap

Thanks to both, that's what I figured. I knew I had more RPMS left...
~110 MPH registers ~3500 RPM
You mean 5500 RPM. That's about what I was at at 105mph.
I meant what I said.
I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see a pic of a speedo at 110mph and 3500 browsing the site. Sorry about that. Maybe it's because I have an automatic?
I don't know but sounds reasonable.
