Do I need to disconnect my battery to swap out the cluster? The car always runs like crap until the computer relearns whatever it is that it relearns and I would like to avoid it if at all possible.

I didn't unplug the battery when I swapped mine, I had no problems.

I got it in and everything works. I think my "check coolant" bulb was burned out in my other cluster because this one lights up at start up and then turns off.

In the new cluster the temperature doesn't get as high on the gauge as on the other cluster did. The new cluster only gets up to about 25% and the old one got up to about 42%. The new cluster seems to show that the car heats up a little faster too. Is this normal? I assume it is but.... I dunno.
