lol ahh Business is finally picking up. Maybe if Faizy can get into it this thread will be fully revived. Faizy you should see his 3rd gen cluster LED conversion he did it looked soo sick man. And Adam, LED's are nice but maybe i can just get white needles lol and maybe re-do my speedo cuz its really dark on the one place.
it would indicate u accidently painted it too dark cuz thats the spot on my guage that for some reason paint wont stick. and P.S go to bed lol
UPDATE: lower prices Also G.I on 2nd gen , 3rd gen , ZX2 HALO sets , Int. lighting ill be making the first 2nd gen prototype this weekend My goal is to make a halo ring specifically for the 2nd gen lens an will be a whole light PnP replacement , ill post pics when im done an see how many would like this done an what would be a reasonable cost . ~Adam
ok sign me up now, i want em. unless lowetgt will let his go cheaper lol get some pics up asap, egt with halos would be sex
You've sparked my curiosity! Love to see a conceptual drawing, mock up, or even other details. I wish "mine" were cheaper, but it's the parts and shipping that get you. You planning on a clear lens? I have many concepts flowing right now; love to see someone else make something for the lighting on these cars!
im not sure if their bright enough to "replace" the stock headlights. I dont have any way of using a " Clear " lens but for test an trial, the lights with the current lens will be used an ill polish them up ( properly ) so they will have a refreshed like new appearance. i cant draw to save my life but ill try an come up with a working prototype this weekend. trick is keeping the cost of material as low as possible when i get home ill make an attempt  at a paint drawing as a overlay on a lens picture to give an idea
sign me up for template i put/quoted on top of page 3. (for odometer) for red/blue/red/blue lights, and possibly white needles (possibly). money wise, well lets discuss when we meet. i am up for it, green stock gets to me EVERY work-morning. make it reverse glow, capable of getting your coffee, receiving cheques in mail (and cashing them), when out of car, locking doors behind u. *sighz*
Do you do any 1st gen guages? I put some blue bulbs in there, but alittle green light still filters through, I might just try a blue sharpee on mine..it's kind of transparent lol. I hate the green
Not thread jacking... I hope. I am unaware of how the first gen gauges are, but I know on the 2nd gen, that the green can be sanded off the back side of the faces. I used transparent blue spray paint for models for Testor's (1257 I believe). And later used some blue LEDs from overseas, great output and darn cheap; got 10 for like $3 shipped from Hong-Kong on ebay.
all the gauges in most makes are done the same way , some can be modified an re colored others can not , i find the LED peanuts are inconsistent with how they spread the light across the gauges , im in process of making the light rods for behind the gauges so the light is consistent. i use transparent paint applied by air brush
