I will be doing a complete 3rd gen set this weekend , I noticed the lighting in the panel is pretty weak an yellowish so I'm going to use 194 LED penuts to make the gauges pop more.

If anyone is interested in a set after I post the 3rd gen ill figure out the material cost with. A generic shipping quote. This will include all desired gauges to choice of color and the penut LED's. Gagues will be colored using an airbrush and a clear coat for a long lasting glow. A small core charge may apply and will be refunded upon receiving the core.

Multi color is optional (ex:numbers and letters in red , tick lines in blue)

Let me know what you guys think

I tried painting a set of the needle with the blue transparent paint. It gave them a pretty cool affect, but lit poorly. I think removing the org. backing off the needles would be the next step on trying to make it work. I am sure red would be an easier color to do.

I can't really tell you but its not really a secret either. there are how to's online for this .

Mine are all done using an airbrush , using a rattle can will put WAY to much on and the light will not glow through
