Ready for some more of my misfortune tails guys? Well here is one anyway.

Today while cruising down the freeway my car just stops...thought it was timing belt but evdence leads me to believe that it is my fuel pump....reason being the engine still turns over and i hear clicking sound coming from under backseat right where fuel pump is...waitiing for garage to call back but it will be at least a couple hundred dollars with towing and all...but i still love my car

Did you check your inertia switch in the trunk on the left side? the police here had to disable the ones in the LTD´s cause rough roads, rumble strips and, bashing cars when they are chasing then would trip them.I know that you recently hit the hyundai and if it tripped you might have made it a few miles before you starved the motor. Some suckers used to pay me police impound rate when they were involved in a fender bender $108us to push a button they didn´t know they had!

Did you check the pressure at the rail? There should be a needle valve there.Once tripped the shut off switch can be problematic.Make sure your tank is full and play with it.I ran mine out of gas once(yeah I know just over this hill) and it gave me $h!t for months.Even after i changed the filter and bled the system. If you have flow out of the tank check out of the filter if you have flow from the filter what about the rail?If you have flow in the rail what about the plugs? If you have fuel to the plugs then you have a different prob.If not where did it quit? If it was from the pump have someone turn on the key.Is it working? If no hows the fuse if it´s o.k then you might jump the circuit.does it work?If you can hear it working and there´s no flow than pull it and inspect it.Is the impeller still keyed or fixed to the motor shaft so it spins ?you get the Idea, start at the start.
