Fuel filter is located on the firewall, slightly off center towards the driver´s side. It´s really easier to remove the battery, battery tray and main intake pipe to access the filter. It´s about a 15 minute job. You´ll need some metric sockets to remove the above items and a couple of screwdrivers (long shaft). Most importantly, you must depressurize your fuel system first. To do this, find you fuel pump fuse and remove. Then attempt to crank the car, it will turn over a little while but not crank - this will relieve the pressure.

You don´t even need to take all of that crap apart. Just reach between the engine and the firewall. You have to loosen the clamp that holds it on a fair bit more to wiggle it out, but it will come out with a little agile persuation.

Keep in mind I´m over 6 ft tall by just under 6 in wide :-D

Thanks for all the help ;-) .
All I did was take out the intake tube and it was only a five min job. The longest part was try ing to rip the plastic shrink wap the new filter was placed in.

Thanks again.
