    SOLD SOLD SOLD

I bought this set less than a year ago from PonyExpress with grand plans to install it in my Pony, but that's not gonna happen.

This is the information copied verbatim from the original For Sale thread:

Again, I never even removed the parts from the bags. Everything is soaking in motor oil. It was an impulse buy and I'm in need of the cash ASAP.

Asking $180 SHIPPED for everything here, which is $70 less than what I paid for it. Price is FIRM! PayPal accepted.

What are the potential gains or benefits to upgrading to this cam/lifter/spring setup?

I seem to have deleted the PM that I had from PonyExpress with the estimated torque/HP gains you could expect.

Perhaps some of the experts could chime in here.

I wasn't concerned with the specifics - I just bought it because it was rare.

Man, you weren't kidding, this is a very rare cam for this car. I can't find specs on it anywhere. Even searching the Crane PN doesn't come up with anything on the internets

    Sorry mechgt5 I didn't see your reply!

Shipping is included anywhere in the lower 48. AK and HI would have to pay extra.

Unfortunately I can't tell you the specifics about engine tuning. I never had the cam installed in my car. The original owner, PonyExpress, may be able to help.

I had a guy call me and expressed a little interest, but didn't commit. The price is FIRM; sorry but it's worth way more than $250 shipped. I took a huge loss on the car itself and I will not take a loss on this. Thanks for understanding.

Remember this isn't just the cam; it's the double valve springs and lifters too.

i was the guy who expressed interest, and i am still very interested, as $250 is a little on the high end. the cam is used, and a new reground is $270. twenty bucks is worth a new one. nobody buys something, and sells it for the same price, you will always take a hit, part of buying and selling. i would give you $150 for it, as the rockers and valve springs are useless and not needed on only a .10 more lift, actually would use more horsepower to make the cam work than you would really see out of the cam. let me know if nobody buys, as i am seriously very interested.

This isn't just some regrind. This is a rare part that no longer exists... and for that fact, it's worth what hes asking. someone will scoop this up.

I've decided to turbo the 1.9L with a 2.0 head, so I assume that this would fit the 2.0 Head?

Very interested on the potential gains one would see as a result of this on a N/A or boosted motor to see if the $250 is worth it. Maybe I can get in contact with pony express to see if they still have the PM

Hmm still not getting email replies from this forum. Sorry I've been absent from this thread.

I am still staying with my $250 asking price. It's worth that, and probably more.

Yes, it fits the 2.0 head. That was what I had intended to use it for before I sold the car. I'm sorry I don't have any more specs for you (i.e. potential HP gains) but that didn't really matter to me when I bought it. I bought it because it was a rare part that was no longer being manufactured.

PonyExpress would know more details, if anybody can reach him.

I'm not offended if certain people don't want to pay the $250 but somebody will realise that it's definitely worth that.

Yeah, you can probably get the same gains out of a regrind, but this part will give you "bragging rights" because of the rare part factor.

The big question is does this cam have the pickup for the cam sensor on it?

New price in case anybody is interested, I'll take $180 for a loss. I don't have the car anymore and this is just sitting in storage.
