I just removed all four struts from a 91 wagon with Monroe Sensu-trac struts from my local U-Pull it yard. When I got home I noticed the front mounting blocks are off 180 degrees. What did it do to the wagon in junk yard allignment wise? And should I make it right. Also do I need to take the assy. apart to turn it or can I turn the top mount with the unit assembeled. Thanks

My car's been aligned so many times that I've seen about every possible configuration. Strut tower nubs pointing in, out, left in right out, etc etc. They can be adjusted by rotating them without needing disassembly. The orientation of the strut nubs depends on your particular application and is done so by the shop to get the right alignment.

My strut nubs used to be:

^ ->

Now they're:

<- ->

Which makes me:

%$*^&!!!

Don't worry about the nub alignment, when you install the struts and get it lined up by a shop, they'll set it however it needs to be.
