Front Bumper

Hey guys I was just wondering if there are any other cars besides the 92-95 Civics that the front bumper would fit a 2nd gen escort? Like I heard somewhere that a protege bumper will fit and I also read that a Cavalier Z24 bumper might fit, Although I am not sure which years

All I want to know is how the hell this bumper I got from an 87 EGT is suposed to mount to the front of my 89. All it is is a cover, where as my stock bumper was an actual bumper with no cover. I may just sell it and get a Mustang bumper like Cosworth did. But still how the hell do I mount the thing?
