I think the rails are fine, it's just that they can slide independently of one another when they aren't bolted in place. One is spring loaded, the other isn't. Just slide them so they're at the same point and bolt it in. I think so anyway.

the rails have like littel teath that grab, when you pull the handle on one side, the cabvle pulls the other, i just pull the handle and move the seat around so the rails slide around till they fit. and if you have the rails its a drect bolt in.

as for your wish body kit noice choice, the car in the pic is mine and will finally be painted for new ad pics soon.

Damn $100 for the seats. I paid right around $40 for mine and i got both front seats and the top and bottom of the back. If you cant find them anywhere else then i would say get them because i really like mine and they sit you even lower to the ground so you have more head room.

yea man. I paid even MORE in BC, Canada. I had to clean them up a bit and the drivers has a lil hole/tear.... but SO worth it! So comfy and you sit lower. The only down side is that unless you have a tilting steering column.. the steering wheel is too high!.. well high-er. I'm hopefully gonna get the back ones now..!

Which car? The white one or the blue one? I like the body kit on the white one, but I was really just using it as an example of what clear corners would look like on my car. I think the blue one (here) is my all-time favorite Escort right now. If anyone knows who this is, let me know!

The seat bottom on that driver's side was wrecked.. not to mention the top of the back.

Seats are a safety item during a crash.. I wouldn't use those seats any more in a car than I would a blown airbag.

Beav is right, if you buy them, get them completely re uphulstered like they do on American Hot Rod or Overhaulin', and they'll be able to tell when it's all apart whether they're safe.

that manifold wall looks like fun to go through. and the pic where you said

"I have no idea what kind of car this was from. There wasn't much left besides the two front seats. If anyone knows, let me know!"

it looks like it is a 95-99 mitsubishi eclipse or eagle talon, looking at the way the back side window slopes down.

you should re-upholster them, they look the would work.

I like the look of the rear bottoms out of an MX-3 but the top, although it dose folow the lines of the back side palnels verry well, I feel leave the back of the car with the look of a bench seat. Perhaps it is posible to take the frame and foam out of a 4 door sedan and remount the clips, joints and locks so that you can have a hybrid rear seat with the head rests. I checked in my hatchback and the head rests wont interfeare that much with the rear view. Since you got the seates apart anyway go ahead and uphulstered like MadBrad said. I think I have a new project for next weekend.
