Still too pricey imo, it's missing a window crank, paint is sub-par for garage kept (and out of sun...my eye it was), and I swear the rear bumper IS cracked (or cracked looking) in one of the pictures. I'm skeptical, as always.

Cow, I have the window crank, the bumper is NOT cracked, though it's not a show car either (prima donna). Its still a decent car .I dont think my price is unreasonable. Ya gotta see in in person to make the final judgement.

Ohh, I didn't realize it's yours :p.
 That's hilarious...As far as the autocheck (Not so sold on Ebays Autocheck) it states a storm area title. It doesnt matter even if your car was in Egypt at the time of a major storm/flood. It still has to be documented. This car however, has not been under water and has no rust at all. Just for those who are wondering...

It's not that the price is a little to high now, it's the fact that you're in Houston and a lot of us are from a bit further north and/or east.

Did you get the transmission fixed? I see it's not mention on the e-bay ad. Driving would most likely how most of us would get the car.

Yeah the tranny issue is taken care of. Most of the people interested are more than 1000 miles away LOL. I guess ill put it back on Ebay in a week or two. I might sweeten the deal and throw in some rare 16" Momo Quasars.

Don't the listing fees eat you up? I remember trying to sell an old Cougar a few years ago and I paid something like $80 to not sell it.

So everything on the car is pretty straight? As in you'd drive it from Houston to Kansas City? If you still have this in a few weeks I might consider it. One of the 'cleaner' EGTs I've seen, and I've been in search of a second, or at least something comparable.

Only after a second so I can begin the motor swap on my current.

I hear ya. Its in pretty good condition...may eventually need new tires in the rear as theyre showing signs of old age...I bought my '87 Escort and drove it all the way from Denver to Houston (1000+ miles) and I dont think It was in as good condition as my '89. That was crazy now that I think about it 8O ...but Im pretty sure it will make it...

Are you in a rush to sell it? I mean I'm not in a rush to buy anything; but I'm looking for a daily driver for when I decomission my car for the motor swap.

I've narrowed it down to 3 choices; a escort diesel (which I can't find), another escort gt, or a blazer.

And if I decide to buy another GT, I'd prefer it to be yours, I don't think I'd find one in better shape.
