he runs a little chop shop, and as far as i know every thing is still in the car, i offered him my 85 camero, my zetec engine and tranny and a few other things, i told him how bad i wanted thes things last time he put them on ebay, and his resopnse was, "the only thing i understand is money" . but i have thought of getting a trailer and going to get it late at night. hell never find it. and he doesnt know exactly who i am so , it could work. what do you think?

The Focus SVT engine/trans combo would really be groovin in a scort!
Would the swap be just the same as swapping in any Zetec, or would it be harder still?
Not that I´m ready to do this, but just wondering.....

Well, I´d imagine that the engine mounts are the same... but don´t we have a solid linkage to the tranny? The SVT uses a cable linkage... which could be good or bad depending on how hard it is to adapt the focus shifter to the scort. Yeah.. 90 more hp in my LX wagon wouldn´t hurt a bit.
