    hey, im gonna hook up my amp soon but how do i run the cables through the firewall is there a whole i can use already with a rubber gaumet or do i need to make a hole and is it hard to do. can someone of you explain your story???!?!

    The 3rd gen. Escorts may be different than the 2nd gen, but on mine there is a hole for the 'cruise control' cable. Its covered by a rubber plug, and located close to the 10:00 position of the vacuum brake booster. With the rubber lid off, that is where I put wires through.

    I ran my power wire through the fender into the door. If your wire is bigger then like 6ga this wont work. I wanna say Redse did the same thing. I can post pics if you like.

    a single 4ga would fine for that amp. the reason i did the two run on that customers car was he had a 4 channel the size of yoru sub amp and a 2K for his sub.

    ok im planning on mounting my amp on the back of the rear seats what length cables should i get? cuz they come in diff lengths. it would just save me the trouble of getting a rough estimate.
