it's getting to be that time, but nothing has been mentioned about having a meet again this year.

    Discuss.

I'm all for attending another meet and bringing some "local" beer and salad and/or whatever is needed.

I also don't have to work on Saturdays anymore so I won't have to arrive late.

I am up for a meet, but I wouldn't have a place to host it. Anyone know any parks in their area that would rent out a pavilion for the day and allow alcohol and grilling? Might be a route to look into.

I don't know if I can use the wedge or not, if I can we'd have plenty of room.

I wouldn't be opposed to hosting this year now that I have my own place... there's a huge empty lot behind the apartment that we would be free to use and our apartment is pretty large.

But with me being 4+ hours away from most of you guys, that probably won't work.

Charles, if you should undertake this task, Gretchen and I are up to helping you out with food and drinks and such. I'd love to do it here, but living in a rowhome in the middle of town sorta kills that. Weekends are a little full for me until the end of August though so if we plan this, maybe could it be early September or something? It'll be cooler then anyway.

I know this is kinda off topic, but do any of your guys go to the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle? I went years ago, but haven't been for a while since my car's been down. I've been talking to the guys over at TeamZX2 about this, and I really want to get a bigger turnout of Escorts/ZX2's for the 2011 show. The Ford reps have also shown interest in seeing more Escort/ZX2's at this event. I plan on organizing a gathering for the 2011 show, and would like to get a big turnout. I've gotten a lot of interest from members over at TeamZX2, and figured I'd talk to you guys here also. Any thoughts?

I was at the ford show last year, but I was working in a Vendor tent. There were 2-3 ZX2's and 1 Tracer. I had almost brought my green car, but decided against it.

I go to Ford Carlisle every year. I had my BOS 302 and T Bird there this year.

If some one like Ethan wants to take care of everything like I did last year, we can have it here again, possibly.

I don't know about grilling, but we can at least provide food and a few pre-made items.

Where in PA do you guys usually hold this? i'm from Middletown, just south of Harrisburg, and i'm pretty familar with the Lebanon area. Central PA would make sense to me since its, well, kinda in the middle. My parents own a 100 Acre farm that i might be able to use for the meet.

I can understand not wanting a newb to host though. Up to you guys.

I held the last one in Lebanon, east of Hershey, so you're close enough in my opinion. Let's see what everybody else has to say.
