Bruhahahahaaaa! I got you all beat. Try $3100. That´s the advantage of having itemized deductions, lots of donation/contributions and now 2 tax credits for the kids. My son Zack was born in August and according to taxes he´s worth like $2600.... Though I don´t recommend having kids for the tax break, it sure does help.

Sounds cool Zee but how much of that exactly is goin into your car? pretty much all of my 726 will eventually end up being put towards my car at some point ;-) I´m just happy that I did get that much back. It´s the biggest amount I got back since I started working. :-D

Much as I´d love to put it into the car, I´m trying to save up for a bigger house. My house has NO storage, and a gravel driveway and I´m really tired of having to wait for good weather to work on the cars. And then getting cut up on the rocks. Looking for a garage.

Speaking of paintjobs... the paint on my scort is kinda dull, and the body has some "imperfections" along most of it. I´m not saying it has dents, but the kinda dings you can see if you look along the side of the car from a 3/4 view... you can see that it isn´t perfectly straight like it should be... how do you fix this kinda stuff if it´s everywhere?

Also how do you get a "shiny glossy" look withouth spending the money for a totally new paintjob? Can I wetsand and use rubbing compound, then wax?

I use Meguiar´s Cleaner wax when I wash and wax my car. If I feel real froggy I will bust out the three stage system from Meguiar´s too. With the cleaner wax done I use the polish (for a deep shine, especially on dark colored cars) then the carnauba wax for final step. Just the cleaner wax alone gives me great results and a lot of compliments. Adding the final two steps gives it that extra "Umph" on the shine. ;-) The dents and dings your reffering too is a totally different matter. I still have plenty of dents and dings on my Scort and thats why I want it repainted to mainly get rid of them. I also want the bumpers and grill painted the same color too. :-]

If you´ve got lots of little dents that don´t seem to have much, or any paint missing from them, call up your local paintless dent repair guy. Get an estimate and let him go at it. Once you´re done there, take it to a detail shop and have the paint professionally polished... you won´t believe the shine, better than new and cheaper than a paint job. ;-)
