We were on an indy label called Metal Blade. We did an album with them and before we got it released Warner Bros. heard it and decided to pick up our contract but that was a LONG time ago! LOL!

To put it in perspective when we were in Europe playing with The Cramps we got a call from our manager. He told us that Nirvana had lost their opening act and they requested that we replace the opening act since we knew them from when we did shows in Seattle. We used to sleep over at Chris Novoselic, Nirvanas bass player, house whenever we did shows in Seattle. We went from playing 5,000 seat halls to playing stadiums! It was freaking AWESOME!!! LOL!

I play a few instruments. My main instrument is Guitar but I can also play Bass Keyboards, Drums and a variety of wind instruments like Trumpet and Trombone!

I love playing live but my real passion is writing, recording and producing.

    Do you play?

I tried guitar around 5-6 years ago for a couple months, but didn't understand it. Never learned any songs.

I think I would be a better drummer than a guitar player, but don't have the room at the moment for drums. Maybe someday when I'm out of the city and in the country with little or no neighbors around so noise won't be an issue. My favorite band is Dream Theater, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Iron Maiden.

I like a few Nirvana songs, as well as some Foo Fighters songs.

Electronic Drums have come a long way. They are compact and you can play them through headphones. I did a few studio gigs with a drummer that did just that. His name was Steve Gadd. I remember him walking in with a duffle bag as we were setting up. He opened it up and set up a complete electronic drum set. It was pretty interesting the sound he could get out of that little set up.

I'm all over the map. I like rock, metal, jazz, country, classical, bluegrass, flamenco, etc. Pretty much anything musical I can find something interesting that I like.

Yeps. Was my favorite thru high school. Liked everything (especially the real early stuff) up until "Fear Of The Dark" came out. I thought that album was $h!t. So disappointed.

Kinda like when Metallica got sober, cut their hair and came out with the Black album. I don't like anything after And Justice For All

1 running Ford out of 5 isn't bad, right?

A Matter of Life and Death, and Dance of Death are good albums. You should give them a listen.

    I recommend songs

    Paschendale
    Dance of death
    The longest day
    Different world
    These colors don't run
For the greater good of God

I know a few of the guys in AS. They went to the same high school out in Orange County as my nephew and he hung out with a few of them. It was so sad to hear about The Rev. I was closest to Zacky so I got to jam with him a few times once my nephew told him I used to play. That guy rips.

    I've also heard Dream Theater.

Yea the rev's passing was heartbreaking. Brooks Wackerman is their drummer now. Seems like a great fit for them!
