I think that Jeff now has the record as soon as he takes his beast to the track. I hopefully won't be far behind him when i take my 1.9SPI Turbo to the track.

uh, yeah. My BONE STOCK LX wagon, before I did any mods to it, was able to beat a Race-prepped Porsche 911, Mustang Cobra R, a couple Datsun 280Z's, a couple spec miatas, a neon with a 2.4L PT cruiser swap, a civic, a couple camaros, and a couple other cars I can't remember; And this is ALL on a ~2 mile Road Course. The only cars that beat me were a Firebird WS6 that was tricked out and had R-comp tires, and also a Corvette Z06 that had suspension mods and race slicks. I came in 3rd fastest for the day, those two cars were only ahead of me by a second or two If I had R-comp tires, I'd probably have beat them too.

Good thing no 3kgt's showed up, they'd have sucked. I beat one of those (actually a VR4 with engine mods) by several seconds on another road course, and in autocrosses all the time. now 3kGt's might look ok, but they are WAY slow!!!

You should take it to the track sometime. I'm curious as to what the times are now. That's a big jump. 42hp more.
