anyone else make good headers and the rest of the exhaust back??? Thinking about going turbo maybe, not sure. Let me know!

pacesetter is the only header besides using a 1st gen gt header.The cat back exhaust pacesetter also makes it but most people just get it custom done at any exhaust shop.

heres the Buzz on the Headers

1st gen HOheader:
You can get one oif these fom a wreckers for cheap. Only downside is it will hit your PCV tube heading the block. So you ahve to crush the tube a bit. Or do what me and ponyExpress do. And get a PCV breather from a wreckers. The 1st gen has an EGR bung at the bottom of the collecftor that you will need to weld to fill in so it won't leak.

Pacesetter:
These header have the wrong firing order (I herad they redesigned it to 1 4-1 instead of a 4-2-1, but no proff since I havn't seen one yet) The firing order isn't much of a problem. The exhaust is still gettin out. Better than stock. But if your going for big horsepower. You will want it right. On a 1.9L you won't get awesome numbers out of it so not an issue
Pacesetter products are cheap and i have heard about them rotting out in a year. If you decide to go with Pacesetter get the Armour Coat header and not teh black painted one(Armour coat will last longer) One adavtange of the pacesetter is that its Mandrel bent all the way through.
You do not have to worry about the PCV as wel

All headers
If yopu escort was made 94+ It will ahev EGR (exhgaust gas Recirculation) this is an emmisijuonjs component. and you need to dump it and then block the hole on teh intake manifold. or get an older intake manifoild wiuthout EGR if you don't wanna go through hassles.
Also with both headers you willa hev to elimiate your catalytic Converter or move it. Yes it is better to remove it or get a free flow. But if you state/province has emmisons your screwed. I would suggest an HO header and then get a free flow cat take your car to a Muiffler shoip and get 2.25 inch from rteh ehader back with a Cat in there somewhere and a nice muffler and tip of your choice at the end

Intake Manifold:
I mentioned above about the EGR has a hole on teh intake manifold. And you will need to fill it or get an older Intake Manifold. Just to let you know. That if you do decide to do a 3.8L throtle Body swap as well. That hole is a perfect spot to mount your Throtle Cable bracket. You just gotta bend the bracket teh opposite way and match the holes. This is because the Throtle body from a 3.8L cable mount is on teh opposite side. thats another story as well.
