i race a 95 GT at the local dirt track.
when i bought the car, it had a resinator on the exhaust. that quickly came off with one jumb of the mud burm on the inside of the track. and a few burms later, the entire exhaust kinda came off (oops)! so now i need to put it all together for a new season and i am wondering if i should put it on again or not. i no a few people that say no, but i was also told yes, ill need a bit of back pressure... witch is the truth? any ideas???

I'd just put a straight pipe (no muffler or cat) on it.
run it out under the door near the rear tire.
As long as it's about 2.25 to 2.5 inches in diameter
it should give you everything you need.
Or you can go nutzo and run it out the side of the front fender.
The passenger side is best. That way when they go to pass you
they get a blast of heat and noise. :p
