I have a 96 LX 1.9, with stock exhaust manifold, modified air box and 2.0L throttle body. I race on a small quarter mile asphalt track. I currently have the stock size exhaust with the cat removed, flex pipe in place of it, and the muffler removed, all that is on the exhaust is the stock resonator, due to decibel requirments. What would be the max size that I could use to maximize my power outta this baby. Also what length of exhaust would be appropriate, it has to be at least to the back of the drivers seat, so it can end there or it can go further, currently, where it bends to go around the gas tank, i have it cut off so that it points outta the side of the car.

Ok, yea from what I recall, I am usually averaging 4000 rpm outta the corner and 6200 rpm into the corner. So I think I am goin to upgrade it, they used to let us run the 1st gen header on the car, but this year they became more strict, car must be stock for make, model, year so I'm looking for gains in other places.
