Some of you old school guys probably know this trick but I never tried until this weekend. For a good paintjob that´s turned dull and needs a good cleaning, consider using any of the soft-scrub cleansers from your local supermarket. I picked up Soft Scrub brand, wet down the car, and squirted the cleaner over each section of the car, cleaning with a soft cloth and rinsing each before moving on to the next section. Then gave an overall rinse and towel-dry. My car is white and had lost its clear-coat shininess, many areas looked ´flat´. Afterwards, the whole car shines - it´s like I put a coat of polish on. Actually, just the dead paint came off. Following the wash I did a whole body polish and she looks great again. Thought I´d pass this tip along...
