O.K. here's the deal. I was gonna keep this to myself  but hey we gotta stick together. My work is gonna be auctioning three 2nd gen scorts on 02/15 at 11:00 am. 2 are gt's and one of those is a Caymen. I want to see some scorts in the parking lot so I know they won't go to a scrap yard or worse yet a used car delear. The address is 13303 hwy 99 just south of Honeys and the Royal Casino. Preview is at 8:00 am and we will have keys by then so we will know what runs and what doesn't (slightly less of a gamble when compared to most tow auctions) And I'd like to meet some fellow scort freaks so I'll be there and I may bid if it looks too grim for these scorts. :( I just saved a 90 wagon that someone had a car-b-q in so I don't know where I'll put any more. :?

    Interested!

I'm really interested, been looking for a 91 or 92 egt with a sunroof and am just down the road in MLT. Any of the GT's have a sunroof? Sorry for the shameless question, I'm on nights, and will have to know soon to be able to make the preview/auction on Sunday; normally I'm sleeping during those times.

Another lame question: What's a Caymen GT??
Please mail me if you'd like: [email protected]hotmail.com.

I'll check on the sunroof. And a Caymen is a limited run that had the rims painted to match the body and has interior trim that matches as well.I don't know if they are mechanically different(i think this one has the mazda 1.8l 16v dohc instead of the 1.9) It's a little rough,(hood is oxidized,a few dings, interior needs cleaned and detailed) but like I said it's all there. If I didn't just pickup a waggy then drop a few grand(like 3g+t&l) on a couple of new scooters I'd be seriously bidding. It's kinda hard to slip more cars past the wife because we are allowed to have 2 on our property and we have 6 plus the scoots.

    Hey thanks
I just went by there and poked my head over the fence from Fleury's (sp?) wrecking. All I saw was the green one, no sunroof. Didn't see any others.
Saw that xr4ti in the wrecking lot but 650 bucks for the engine and transmission was way too much. Was that you working the counter when I was asking? Might be back to grab that T3 tho

Well I couldn't be there so I had someone bid on them all for me. I ended up with a red 91 gt for $25 bucks a tow.(which I did myself)The caymen gt(which ran) went for $100 which was what I told him to bid for me and somehow it didn't happen. But it's cool cause I know the guy and we may end up with another member. I havent had much time to play with mine yet. I know the battery is dead but the motor slowly rolls over with a jump so I have hope. In the meantime I now have four scorts, 3 first gen and the 2nd gen gt. Does anybody own a self storage company ?
