I thought there was another post somewhere, but could only find the 1st gen post. I was just watching "I am Omega", and the guy jump starts a 95-96 green Escort sedan.

also, in "The Rock" there is a light tan colored 91-92 EGT that gets smashed during the chase scene.

I have seen tons of other movies with Escorts, but those are the only 2 that I can think of off the top of my head right now.

in the movie Deadly Impact (released earlier this year) the "bad guy" drives an 2nd gen Escort GT cayman edition at one point. Pretty good action movie too if your into those.

if youve ever seen funny or die, its a comedy show started on the internet then brought to hbo, its made by will ferrel and some other funny guy, they use a white 2nd gen 2 door in a bunch of skits, one where the escort plows a bunch of people down. funny show, i highly recommend :lol:

It's not unusual to see Escorts on the TV show Cheaters. Not suprizingly, I've never seen one pulled over on Speeders.

There's an 86 or 87 Escort in Dragnet with Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks. I guess it got damaged in the chase, because later they ended up with a Yugo.
Toward the end of the first Police Academy movie (following success with the riot) you see a "police" Escort Wagon (first generation). Those are a couple of "Police Escorts", lol.
