Guy in a old z28 raced the engine......I looked over at the cop parked on the corner and revved the lil car. light turned green and by god the z28 got 3 gears of rubber crossin the intersection. Cop car got 4. I just puttered on away lol.

no it means they guy was giving u a taste of what pure american muscle is capable of ur in a escort thats probably stock if its your daughters u got a whopping 88 thundering hampsters under ur hood. dont get me wrong ive read alot about these cars and people like jeffscort have put alot of hard time and money into a build. now please dont get me wrong im not raggin on you your a valued perscriber, but a race and a win is when u can see him in the rear view mirror.

+2 LOL

and some pretty christmas lights to go with him being in the rear view mirror HA HA, guys that do the 1.9 turbo more power to them! I wouldn't attempt it, course turbo aint my thing I like a good N/A engine that's why I just run a good intake and header on my EGT :D nice deep growl! cut intake box with a K&N filter does good :D

lol but imagine that filter having a whole BUNCH more air PULLED through it.... yeah.... that's a growl. lol put a 3" pipe on there between your 50mm TB and your filter.... THAT's a growl.woot!

I'm going to just relocate the battery, and connect the VAM straight to the throttle body!!! can't be more direct than that now can you? with the battery in the trunk the cut box and filter should all fit right there under the hood nicely, you think 4 gauge wire will work to have the battery in the back? the starter prolly takes more than 100 amps I'm sure it's more like 300 amps or so. I'll just go to home depot and get some 0 gauge wire! that stuff will work. then I just gotta lengthen the VAM wires MAYBE, maybe I can just move em and get em to fit, but yeah that'll be an intake eh? when I do I get a write up and pics on how to do it!

newp! gonna just mount the VAM to the TB straight with the black box on there still so the IAC will work, stupid black box! I might fab up a short hose so I can put a T in it for the IAC, but yeah just gonna get rid of that stupid intake hose not looking for a TRUE cold air, just eliminating unnecessary stuff! plus battery in the back is better weight distribution :p naw that's what subs are for ;)
