    Then a new Head unit.

I'll probably do voice control with Tasker down the road, and move the A/C controls down, and the head unit up.

Excellent mods so far. Do yourself a favor and get a smaller USB drive so it doesn't stick out so much.

I wanted to update this. I moved the head unit to the top of the dash, and the a/c- heater controls to the lower part of the dash. For anyone wanting to do this, the cables will work without modification. When taking out the control module, take the cables out too, and re route them when you put the unit back in. Almost looks like it belongs there.

    No "How To"?

Also was curious if you had done the LED's in the door switch mod. Wanted to see how it turned out.

Easy peasy. I got this kit ($16.00). Hook it to the ground, key ignition wires, and brakelight. Then find a place to mount your start button. I was already into the ignition switch because I have remote start. 5 wires I think and that's it. Later I'm going to put the start wire on a kill switch, so I can exclusively use the button. If the button fails, I can hit the kill switch and use the key.

No LED's in my doors, but I have converted the whole dash to LED.

Love it. Looks pretty "Plug and Play" to me. Now I get to break out the EVTM again!

Where did you place the button? I was thinking since the keyed ignition has to be rewired placing it where the keyed ignition was would be kind of cool but I like your forward thinking on the kill switch. Having a backup system is always a good thing.

I haven't decided, but this is one thought. Next to my garage door button. Receiver would go behind the panel if it fits. I tapped into the 6 wire connector going to the ignition switch. Unplugged it should still work (not the key).

I was thinking ahead because I've read the keyfob batteries don't last too long. By only having 1 wire on the kill switch, it's a less complex setup. I can do whatever I want, maybe even a keypad killswitch or even a fingerprint? lol. A would be thief would only be able to turn on the accessories.

I also have to replace my usb hub in my center console, it stopped working.

So here's an update. I have the RFID working, but I have one problem. When I use the RFID method to run the car the wipers and fan don't work. They work when I use the key. I figure I have to be missing a wire in the 6 mire connector going to the lock cylinder. Any idea which wire of the 6 controls that? Accessory, ignition on and start work great.

Any ideas on this? I have no wipers when I use the start button, but I have wipers when I use the key to start it. I have to be missing an accessory wire or something.
