I would like a stock tach in my car and was wondering if i go get one from the junkyard and plug it in will it work? like the escort gt gauges. i got a 95 wagon with a 1.9

look in the "how to" section, there is a thread that tells you how you have to rewire your harness to be able to use a sport tach cluster.

running the wire from the edis module, the easy part of the mod... the rewiring? wouldn't do it again... maybe

actually, it is fairly easy if you have the FMC factory manual. Why did you swap an EGT cluster into an LX? Redline on the tach would be off.

maybe they are the only ones available? in my case, those were the only tach cluster i could find at the time i wanted the swap.. i did found some info when i did it but i mostly used my leet electronic engineer skills (a.k.a. trial an error), the donor was a 91 egt btw...
