i was at work today (i work at a book warehouse) and came across a book called Big Trucks...or something like that. anyways on the cover was a picture of a blue and yellow Michelin sponsored Ford Escort Cosworth rally car complete with night time driving lights attached to it. i flipped to the spot of where it was and it showed the car and next to it said "Rally Car". i think its pretty cool that an Escort is on a childrens book. wouldnt you all agree?

also another book we have called Four Stroke Performance has a Cossie on the front cover pictured as well. this one was setup as a road course race car.

you should be able to find thses at Barnes And Noble and on Amazon.com in case you may wanna look for em.

either one would be nice to have, bottom line is that they aren´t available in the US.
With the release of the Lancer Evol and the Impreza WRX STI, ford needs to get off their asses and release these cars to the US

Ford would only release the next gen Focus SVT, which pretty much sucks compared to the Evo VIII and the STi.
I have all four Evos on Gran Turismo 3, just for the hell of it :-] I have IV, V, VI, and VII and each is progressively faster than the previous model in the quarter mile...but for some reason the STi is slightly faster than the Evo VII in the game.
I know the EVO VIII will be faster still, but the new STi will have 300 hp/300 lb ft torque on top of the VIII´s 276hp/271 lbft torque yay!! ;-) why am I so excited? i can´t afford a WRX, let alone the STi and even the new Evo VIII...which will still be under $30,000 (US). :-|

ok I was slightly off the new Evo will be called the Evo 8, not VIII...reason? Mitsu is "nipping the problem in the bud" because it´ll be hard to spell out the Mitsu EVO XXIV. ya know? Besides, it´s really the Evo 7.5. it elongated the front fascia and put a different wing on it...it only gets a 5 sp manual. it´ll have 271 hp/ 273 lb ft torque, which is down from the Evo VII, @ 276 hp/ 283 lb ft torque, how come us Americans get screwed in that extra power? You guessed it, the stupid emissions regulations. ok now I feel better :-]
