Well my 95 wagon died a couple of months ago. It was its secound engined. First engine blew a valuve and the secound engine hole in forth piston. Now i drive a 89 topaz. I really miss my wagon, i was thinking about putting a engine back in it. I was thinking about putting a madza engine in it. But i really don´t know. But what would be a good engine and or size that would bolt straight to the factory transmission. The car is a 95lx escort wagon.Thanx

Hey if youre going to do a whole engine swap, have you considered dropping in one of the new Zetec motors? I´m not sure on compatability and all that, but I´m sure it would be better then the Mazda BPD8.

chadgore dropped a 2.0L Zetec ZX2 motor and tranny in his 2nd gen. he love is. said it was the best mod ever. It´s under the "my little import killer" thread.
