I´ve got an 89LX with a 1.9L Engine (Throttle body injection) 5-Speed.
A buddy of mine has a 93LX with the 1.9L SEFI (Automatic) and he´s getting rid of the car.
I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to do an engine swap.
I´ve heard the 2nd Gen LX engines have less power, but at least it´s got electronic fuel injection.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction!
Will swapping engines be worth my while?

this swap would be a step up from the engine you have now, and anny engine swap is worth wile, to me.it can definately be done, with enogh machanical knowledge.

Actually doing the swap isn´t a problem for me, I just want to find out if it´ll be worth my while to do it. The newer engine has 200,000km on it, but mine only has 118,000km. It´s a tough decision.

I´d stick with what you got. you could always try to adapt an EFI setup to your engine.
