My Escort is a '94 LX, manual trans. Runs great...except when the engine warms up and sitting at idle, it will die. It starts right back up and if I catch it dying, I can pump the pedal and keep it going. The situation does not bother me but the wife refuses to get in it. So, I had it at the shop a couple of weeks ago and they tried "cleaning the throttle body assembly" but the problem still exists. It seems to me that the fuel flow is being interupted/slowed down/shut off momentarily. So, where do I start looking? Any suggestions appreciated!
