Here is proof that AutoZone can get these inserts. Part # is 4.1105G (black) or 4.1105R (red). I ordered them on Sat., and picked them up on Tues.

The inserts are for the two lower mounts on the front and rear of the transmission.

If the 1.9 is a manual it will work. They will work on any 5-speed escort 91-03.

    I apologize, kendogg.
I posted the wrong info on what the inserts fit. I thought I read somewhere on FEOA they would only fit the 1.8 5-speed in the 2nd gen Escort.
I thank everyone else for correcting my mistake.

It's cool. Thankfully, clueless people like me ask ALOT of questions, verifying ALL of the info for the rest :)

Now, if only somebody at zxtuner.com would answer my emails.......

Autozone can infact order anything from Energy Suspension. I just ordered 3 p/n's:

    1.1105G - Motor Mount Inserts
    1.1106G - Shift stabilizer Bushing
    1.10105G - Steering Rack Bushings

All should be here Thursday I did not want to wait, and since none of the online Escort vendors I emailed have returned my emails, I just bit the bullet and decided to give AutoZone my money :(

Got my bushings from AutoZone. Energy Suspension, all black.

    4.10105G - Rack Bushings - $10.99
    4.1105G - Motor Mount Inserts - $25.99
    4.1106G - Shifter Bushing - $14.99

3 days wait time, can't argue with that. And, I bought new motor and trans mounts as well to go with the 2 inserts.

OMFG what a night & day difference just replacing the 2 mounts on that one brace/cradle (the front lower motor mount, and the rear trans mount) with the ES inserts. Car is smooth as can be now.

    ^bump.

    These still smooth?

    I'm convinced they're 100% useless.

Well, they aren't going to cause any vibrations because there's no connection of poly to the chassis. All they are is a movement limiter. On a car thats driven hard, they'll increase the life of the rubber mounts, reduce engine movement, while still providing the damping and vibration absorbtion of the stock rubber mounts.

    Uhmmm.....

    No.

They're going to cause a buttload of vibrations, don't tell me they don't. Every single car i've ever driven or ridden in with inserts has vibrated worse than a sybian.

They are SUPPOSED to limit movement. And that, they do. For two weeks. Then they give out.

They reduce engine movement, while eliminating at least 80% of the stock rubber mount's capability to damn vibrations.

It's pretty sweet after two weeks of install when you still have all the vibration, and NONE of the performance.
