I just got my eibachs from Ebay...Got them for $100 seemed to be a good deal. I open teh box and do not think they are Eibachs. Because they do not ahev Eibachs stamped on them and appear to be slightly used. I think someone baught them installed them and sold me there old ones in the Eibach box.

Heres the auction:

and a closer pic I took

Even though they appear to bhe used they still inj really good condition.
but don't most lowering springs have the coils closer together like these:

I belive these are not Eibachs and are OEM sprinsg for the Escort...I will report this tomorrow.

Those are the strangest eibach springs I have seen. Mine have a tighter coil up top on the fronts. And the rears look off too.. I just got my new struts; I will snap pix of known Eibach’s and post to compare.

In that auction he states"A Ford Escort (ex wagon) that is written after the words ford escort I do not know what it means year 3-85- 1990 or a Madza Protege 1990-1994."The part number he has is for the 91 and on escorts. Those dont look like the eibachs that I got.I will have to see if I still have the pic of them on my cf card.Mine were alot tighter in the bottom that those.

Have you checked with the manufacturer to see if the spring you have are the right color / have stampings / and or have the right look to them? I think their customer service dept should be able to help you out. If they are not the right thing then stick it to the eBay seller.

I don't recall there being the Eibach name stamped on mine (but that was like two years ago, my memory sucks). I got mine straight from an Eibach retailer. I know they're supposed to be black, and they weren't quite as tight as the silver ones in your second pic, johnScort, but I do recall them being tighter than the ones you got.

Mine came directly from Eibach and trust me, they should have a stamp......also those look nothing like mine at all.

Also, I know these came directly from the plant because Eibach is 1.5 hours away from my house and the supplier is a direct Eibach dealer.
