Okay here the situation. In order to tune the fuel computer I put an A´PEXi Exhaust Temperature Gauge in the A-Pillar. Currently I´m running 2psi boost on a peak. I thought my EGT´s would be darn near a N/A motor. However I installed it and found that my temps were peaking at like 820 degrees C (I think that´s like 1500 F). Anyhow, that´s WAY too hot. Anyone guess why its happening. I pulled spark plugs, they show I´m running too hot and show that I´m running Lean. I dont see how I can really be running lean on 2psi on a peak .5psi on average.

okay... I don´t know anything about engines (well I do, but not as much as you guys)... so we´ll look from a practical standpoint.

Where (physically) is/are the temperature transducer(s) located? Maybe you just have a hot spot where the temp is sampled...

What causes heat? Friction? Will running rich or lean increase temperature? Just trying to help.

Haha, this is measured with the STOCK injectors. And only running .5psi. Orlando, I think I have another prob. I was installing the MAP and the screwed stripped so I put it in a box and was going to finish it later when I had time. I found the box, but the MAP is gone. Can´t find it anywhere. What was that MAP from?

The EGT is being measured after what I guessed would be the leanest cylinder (1). I drilled the hole for the probe about 15mm from the head.
