...dude is part of the Russian mafia. No fear of retaliation against him or his vehicle because ordinarily that tool is reserved for use on bodies... not car bodies but human.

nice. Here in USA we have a thing where people with nice new car will park cross like that to prevent anyone parking next and giving them Door Dings. Thats OK if you park in far side of lot with many open spaces, but not if making others walk far.

My crazy buddy would go around to such cars and use metal bar to give them "door ding" on passenger side, so guy wouldn't notice until later. Yeah, he had "issues".

Of course, it's not up to us to exact retribution for such misdeeds and so I'm sure Karma has paid (both) a visit. Ironically that would just confirm the car owner's behavior, making the perceived "problem" of them double-spot parking worse.

Some folks just can't park and are too inconsiderate to correct it. But if they simply chose to park on the far side, it wouldn't be necessary to double-spot park.

What's even more funny, on a dry sunny clear warm day they probably go through all the extra trouble to park closer, then at some point during the week, pay a visit to the gym... and probably do the same thing in their parking lot.

I still think my escort is the only car I own that I can park straight, My fusion I always park either sideways or toward the edge of the line.

What will they think of next?

Yeah I too had noticed I wasn't parking straight in my Fiesta!

I attributed the issue to the sloping left and right side window lines...

...apparently and without realizing it, I was using that as a frame of reference when parking.

I've adapted and are parking (reasonably) straight now.

Wow thats a beautiful Fiesta, I really like that shade of blue I think thats Kona Blue right? I got Ingot Silver for my Fusion so boring but it blends in. Now with the Fusion I try to pick a line on the hood and best judge the distances from the parking lines.

Odd that the forum sends me your April 26th post this evening.

Thanks. Kona Blue 2016 Fiesta ST. Been using the side mirrors to try and center between the lines before backing into them. The front I just try to center it up by looking straight ahead as if I were driving a lane.

The fact that it took place in Russia, should be proof enough that it isn't staged. ;)
