I am looking at replacing the driver side door on a 1986 Escort L 2 door.
What year doors will be a bolt on?

1985 to 1990?

All first gen doors would swap. I'm not sure about swapping from an Exp though.

EXP or LN7 doors will not fit, as they are lower, due to the lowered roofline of the EXP. Any year ('81-90) 1st gen Escort or Lynx door will fit just fine.
