Does anyone know how to get the right hand engine mount off of the block (the one next to the timing belt)? I can´t see any bolts or anything but they have to be there somewhere.

if i remember correctly there should just be a bolt that goes through the engine mount. so find the engine mount and grab a rag and wipe it clean. then feel on both ends in the middle.

If you have a 1.8l you shouldn´t have a problem getting to the timing belt due to the smaller engine size. And I think I know the bolt you´re talking about, but there´s this little horseshoe bit of metal that I (of course) can´t get out of the way.

Was just out working on the car. The little horseshoe bit has bolts that are not threaded! No wonder I couldn´t get them to unscrew. Of course the horseshoe gets in the way of the bolt that is threaded

I wish I could just take the thing to a shop as it is now but I still couldn´t afford it.
