Well, I know that my 98 Svt is 4 x 108, and I know that a friends 99 se is the same, so that is the number that I would go with.

Somewhere I recently saw some bolt patterns where first gens were lumped in with Contour Focus and ZX2 and the new Merc cougar.Is there any truth to this?And does any one know the stock offset for rims on those cars?

yes, they are all 4x108 (or 4x4.25"), offset unknown

bpletch1: i see you have 5 star wheels with 5 lug nuts. how did you get those on when you only have 4 lug nuts?

Yeah, they are definately 4x108. I have a set here. But, i do not have a contour or a focus, so if anyone wants to buy a set of nice 15"x6" contour wheels, email [email protected] and i´ll send you a photo and give you information.
