So I discovered that if my AC is disconnected (electrically) that my cooling fan seems to be on non stop. Apparently this is normal?

I could honestly do without AC. I personally am not much of a fan (no pun intended!)

Can I disconnect the AC in a way that my fan will not stay on all the time? do I have to physically remove it all together.

btw - She is a 96lx

Cheers!

Well, nothing I am sure. Keep in mind, I did not disconnect it. I do not know how it happened. But ever since it happened ( a few months ago) my cooling fan has been on 100% of the time.

I do not want A/C but want my cooling fan to only turn on when it should

they disconnected the ECT sensor on the thermostat housing. u should see 2 sensors there, the one with 2 wires is the ECT and the one with 1 wire is for the gauge. either its disconnected or its bad if its connected. it does this so the engine will not overheat and cause damage :)

ECT= engine coolant temperature sensor
