when you said old how old do you speak of? when i had my 2 15's hitting 140.7. im sure it wasn't really 130. my stuff was about 10 years ago. his was about 7. i just really wish i could have tested my 3 15's set-up in my red car. i only once turned everything up all the way. it didn't distort an ounce and it hurt to breath with no front seats and the doors open.

In my old tracer My subs sounded better facing toward the front of the car versus the back. It think when they were facing the back the sound waves were canceling each other out. The dimensions of the box completely filled the trunk/backseat fold down area. Had 3 8's ported running @ 2.66 ohms. That setup is currently collecting dust in my room. Elemental Designs FTW.

its easier to describe the old mic than to say how long ago cause ppl still use that mic setup. Its a silver stick looking thing, looks like a microphone. That one is almost 10 db higher than the current "little black box" of termlab, and about 8db higher than the "little silver box" of the current ac 180/190. the ac 190 in MY car is approx 1.5 db higher than the termlab.
