anybody used this? I´ve got a friend with one (hasn´t used it yet) and my escort is very very dented all over, and I wanted to know if this was a good tool, or a bunch of bullshet. I don´t want to fatigue the metal or anything and I don´t want to create any cracks where the body will rust through or anything. I just want to sortof take out the dents a little and make them less obvious. thx

Hey if you get one and like it...let me know.

I suffer from both doors and rear quarterpanels having dents. Unfortuneatly all my dents were found with shoe prints over them. Talk about pathetic when a little Escort smokes someones P.O.S. on the road...they have to follow you then kick your car when you park it.

Yeah blade, that´s a sad commentary on human nature! That´s the kind of thing that would get me really stinkin mad. I mean, it´s so pointless. And when you consider how much it costs to repair that type of damage, it´s downright criminal!

Never heard of a Ding King, but let us know what it is and how it works!

Is the ding-king one of those things where push it onto a dent and pull the handles up and it creates suction onto the dent??? Id thats what your talkign about, than it works to a point. It wil only take out small dents that havn´t put creases into the metal. so it works wonders on small dents and the dent has to be the size of the suction cup any bigger and you have to play with it to work which you might not be able to. So if this is the product you are talking about than yes and no to your question.

i had the local dent wizard fix my truck once ages ago and he used a tool looks exactly like the ding king, i saw it on tv and almost bought it considering how much he charged me to get the dents out with it. works on larger dents too that arent creased by the way

Well the ones on my door I think are creased but the rear quarters I think it would work. But for my door I know if I took the door apart I could get to the back of the metal and between someone trying to pop it and tapping a hammer from the inside I think it would work.

Thanx for the info Scort.

Yeah...its sad. But I guess its even sadder when you drive an $80k Acura NSX and my friends GST Eclipse hands them their @$$ before leaving them in shame.
