Hey just wondering if anyone out there has put in any double din H/U's in their 2nd gen escort. Not the flip out, but the actual DD, if anyones got one post some pics!

if you round up an mx3 center console you can fit a DD in with out hacking away yoru interior panels.

But don't you have to convert to the MX3 HVAC, too, which is a pain in the butt?

Not ideal placement, but the lower protege console has enough space for a DD in place of the cupholder/cubby thingy i think.

If you could angle it, it might be relatively easy to operate.
