I had one for a 1997 that I had. I loved it 'except for one thing... The light gray color really reflected gray up into the windshield and into my eyes--- that took some getting used to. I found a black one in a JY, that reflected less, but really collected the heat. I live in Florida. Depending on your sun, I recommend polarized glasses; they will negate the glare.

BTW: Street lights reflected the gray onto the windshield also; the black did not.

the medium graphite ones will reflect up depending on the material. I have one now which does not really do that. It is a dashmat dash cover so it actually fits perfectly :) even has the escort lettering on it

I actually got one years ago for the blue car. Over 10 years ago as the motor was pulled in 2001. It's been outside most of that time under a cover, moved to the garage 2 years ago, came out in December and my cover is shredded. Just noticed last weekend that the thin edge along the windshield is curled up from the heat. :( No idea if it had been like that before of if it's a new issue since I had to move it back outside. I do like it in general and thought that if I ever had a spare $100 (haha) I'd get one for the 86 as well
