my dad was driving the other day and a small circuit board fell out from under the dash and hit his foot, part# is F8CF-14A608-HA, I've searched for what it was and where it went but I have had zero luck. I have the cluster, radio, steering column, and most other things taken out, and I still can't find anywhere where this would go, anyone who has a this problem or can help me figure out where it goes would be a really big help. his gas/temp gauge died around the same time, but that could be something completely unrelated. if someone could help or respond with some ideas so I can fix it before he leaves on a 4 hour trip I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks Everyone :)

I searched the part number on the board and I am not coming up with any hits, if someone could even identify this particular board that would help also, forgot to add that :)

it is probably the anti-slosh module. There have been other posts on this board about it falling out. You will have to pull the instrument cluster to reinstall it. I will try to find a pic of one

This is my spare 2nd gen anti-slosh module... looks pretty similar:

If you have the dash pulled apart, just pull the instrument cluster out, and you will see a spot in the back where it plugs in. A little RTV on the clip will ensure that it stays in place.

No prob man. The first time I saw someone post that one fell out, I thought they were crazy. Now you are the 3rd or 4th person. Rare problem, but at least it's an easy fix!

you know it man, if I had pics of my 90 2dr coupe still, I'd post them, full limo tint, decked out with the 18" vinyls, all 6 cards, plus my rear window was 1 big hatchet man, I loved that car, hence my obsession with Escorts, hahaha :D

Hey, lets be careful talking about 50+ year old men! I fall into that category. I can still jump for joy too, just not has high as I use to.
