i have a ford escort 1990 1.9L cylinder head that was ported and polished. i also have the intake manifold for the carborator. i spent about 400 on this and would like to get may money back for it. i have the gaskets needed for it. if have any ?'s just post or give me an e-mail

I know there's a lot of Escort heads out there, but this looks very similar to a Craigslist ad I saw a while back.

If you have pics, please post them up, as that would help, especially for a P&P head; I've seen some very good, and some very atrocious jobs done to these heads. Any flow numbers, slips of flow numbers, and such also appreciated.

Its too bad that you didnt ask on this forum before you spent money porting the worst flowing head that was made for the CVH.
I hope you at least got before and after flow bench testing with your port job - removing material in the wrong areas of a CVH head will make it flow less than standard.

More was done to my head and intake that what shows in your pictures. Really....that is quite possibly the weakest port job ever (and the intake runners look untouched).
The combustion chambers look 100% stock, and I see casting flash on the little bit of the intake runners...which means no actual porting on that side. Small valves with large indents finish it up. 1Low, did you post the right pics? This is supposed to be a P&P job....
