Shiney blue escort, you read my mind, i want to get out of the grey crappy interior and have mine re-upholstered in leather, have the dash painted a blueish with white vents and also where the black is. I want a leather boot for my shifter and new foam for the seats. It´ll be my pimpin´scort, then it´ll be my super scort when i fix up the engine, suspension, and the brakes. Then i´ll have the rust fixed and get a paint job. yeah. sweet. what do you think, paint the car blue or keep it a cherry red color?

erm...
no offense, but after a little while, you gotta draw the line...
we´ve got escorts. Now I know that escorts are fun to tinker with and drive, but if you´re going to totally re-do your entire car, you may as well just buy a better car to begin with.

Although, I may see if I can pull the front two seats from an old lux car because I would have to admit that the stock seats really don´t hold you in place well in corners and often put your thighs to sleep after a couple hours of goin´ at it.

Just a little suggestion to keep things real though. Nothing personal. Very cool seats, too, and I like the raptor shift knob.

I picked some of those up for my supra, I´d not reccomend them unless your going to have them professionally installed by people who WILL go the extra 5 miles for you, they say ´ ready to install´ but what they don´t tell you is thqt they are not set up with any of the plastic or other clips and assorted fitting parts that your OEM covers have, they don´t even come with zippers or install instructions on how to do.. My installer had to phone them 4 times I now am the proud owner of 6 extra head rest covers none of which fit or have the zipper added to them. some of the parts fit excellently but they skimp on things like the cover flaps for your seat mototrs that were on the OEM stuff.. overall not worth the $645 + $100 for shipping.. ( they don´t tel you that part.).

custom covers, katzskinz and leather seats.com are all the same company BTW..

let me get this straight, instead of re-doing the interior to the car i ALREADY OWN so i can like it even more...you suggest i go buy a brand new car and spend all my money on those payments? bah. One of the reasons i haven´t bought a new 2003 Corolla S is because i OWN this car. it´s mine. no payments. all my money can go into it HOW I WANT to put it into it. You sound like my parents. Hell, if YOU want to make payments for me, i´ll go get my dream car, the WRX, you can pay for my 300 dollar a month payments plus the 300+ dollars for insurance every month, honestly i wouldn´t mind one bit.

Oh btw, the stock EGT seats have a hell of a lot better lateral support than even the 2000 Civic SIs, (my brother owns one) which will out corner the EGTs. I love my seats, i just want to sit on more comfortable interior, while i´m driving MY car.
