Okay gang,
I finally got my grill finished with some pictures taken. I haven´t installed it totally b/c my front bumper isn´t finished with the same mesh. But I just wanted to show you my progress so far.

That looks great! does not apppear homemade at all! How did you do it? Did you use the existing grille and butcher it or get some other thing, or what?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I purchased the grill already cut and fiberglassed from UPR Auto. I resanded the grill and put the finishing touches to the finish before I put the final paint on. I repainted it twice already b/c of screw ups I did (I didn´t clean prep the surface, DOH!). I still got my stock grill but I´m going to work on it when it warms up again. On this one, I´m going to make the grill longer to where its closer to the bumper. I want it close up as much gap as possiable. Thanks again for the props. guys. :-D

Whoa!!!!! Why didn´t some one tell me U.P.R. was back in business. When I had the money to buy one of those grills, the were going out of business, but now that I´m broke they are back. That sucks. I think the grill looks pretty good with the wire mesh in it. I was thinking about getting the three hole version though.

That´s my dad´s 1958 Ford Skyliner (retractable hard top). It just got back from the body shop for a paint job, that´s why I´m using it as a table. :-D That car has A/C for those really hot summer days you don´t wanna burn in the sun and swelter in the humidity. It´s a cherry of a ride. Maybe next Scort meet coming up after NEM I will take it instead. ;-) Pimp: UPR just reopened not long ago so you haven´t missed out on much. Adam is still selling the grills but you might have to be patient on getting one for right now. Gotta get things sorted out before anything else. Thanks for the props. again guys. BTW, I got my "FEOA" stickers in from Diane and will be installing them when it warms up. ;-)

I´m not sure as of right now 91scortboy. I´m sure if you email Adam [email protected] and ask him, I´m sure he can come up with something. Just throw him some ideas. ;-) I´m going to check on some carbon fiber hoods for the 1st Gen next. Any takers? :-]
