Would someone kindly suggest a quality brake pad that is LOW in dust? When I purchased my 95GT I was happy to see that the owner had changed pads on all 4 wheels - and it stops very very well. Can´t tell what brand they are but they put out a LOT of dust. Worse I´ve ever seen. I can clean my wheels, drive 12 miles to work and back, and the rears (passenger side especially) look like they were never cleaned. Dunno if it´s the pad, maybe a brake problem generating dust, or what....

Help?

No, brakes on the 2nd gen GT are 4 wheel disc. And yeah, the fronts get dirty but no more so than I would expect. The rear wheels get black real quick. Maybe they are dragging. Had a complete brake overhaul before I purchased, maybe shop didn´t adjust properly... Dunno. I´m planning on taking a look at them today adn adjusting if necessary. Hey -today´s a great day to do this - it´s 74´ outside, yesterday was 95!

The best way to slow down the brake dust build up is to wax your rims. It may sound kinda lame but you´ll be pleased with the results. Plus your rims will be shinier

I do it everytime I wax my car and when I just wash it I can clean the brake dust off with a damp towel.
