So I am filling up my Focus wagon last night, I look at the used car lot right next door and there is an Escort wagon. I finish up and go over to check it out just to find it's a 97 Tracer with only 59k on it! My wife and I just bought a 2010 Aveo for her daily driver, while I have our 04 Focus ZTW. I don't have the money for this car, or the need, but I love these cars. It's a silver with automatic and all the extras, for $5k. I had to get rid of my 91 last year because it just had too much wrong with it and I didn't have the resources to fix it up. Now I am at a point where I can't do anything about it and I find a car thet I love. Like I said, Cruel Irony!

The asking price is way high. My 97 with 32K miles was listed for $3999 at a dealer 5 years ago.

Yeah, definitely high. It just kills me that after buying a car I see one I just really like. Like I said before, I don't know what it is about these cars, mine just felt like a perfect fit. maybe down the road i will find an opportunity to get one again.

dude, mine was 600 bucks. with a bad clutch. After that, minor repairs. Its got 280k now just last week.
