Seems to me that there are a ton of Green 3rd gen wagons on this forum! I've seen a Purple and a Gold... What other colors are you guys/gals driving? What color would you choose if you could change it?

I don't remember the official name of the color on my '97. I call it burgundy. I bought the '97 new so I picked my color then. If I hadn't got burgundy I'd probably have gotten gold.

Mine is pewter gray and it seems like a rare color. I have only saw one in a yard after a year of searching. If I could change the color it would be blue or red since I see a lot of them.

I have noticed this too. Since I got my green wagon I've seen more on the road and noticed a few on here. I would rather have a black wagon but next would have been green.

I don't have a wag but, the two I've seen in town are olive green or the darker green like yours(Tnashua).

    Toreador Red '97

I'd repaint mine, since it's oxidizing. I like red.

Gold, but I'd either go blue or super crazy bright yellow if I had the choice.

White. I would get it painted pearlescent white.

I had my wagon repainted in an Eddie Bauer scheme. Cinnamon over Pueblo Gold. Very common on SUVs. We have the only Eddie Bauer Escort ;)

As a body shop painter pearl white gives me nightmares and flashbacks... (like an average of 3-5 reshoots to match the tones)

The wife's Cadillac is a pearl. What Cadillac calls 'diamond white'. It's a 3 stage process the shops say.

Grandpa Gold. As much as I would love to paint my wagon white, I will be leaving it gold and trying to repair the clearcoat that has escaped over the years. I experimented with some clear on one fender a few nights ago and I am very happy with the results. If I can pull this off, I will try to badge the car as some kind of SVT special edition or something just for laughs.

:) Thanks for the replies- keep them coming!
I bought 6 Chrome SVT emblems (3 for each vehicle) and have contemplated getting SVT stickers for the centers of my wheels... Haven't installed them though.
I Like Pearl White too, but have noticed that it must be hard to match (just like silver(metallics))- there are a lot of mismatched cars driving around! I wanted to paint my Green ZX2 Metallic or Pearl BLUE, but never got around to it... I'd like to use the lighter green to paint Scallops on my wagon after I get the hood modified & the front bumper cover swapped/modded. I doubt my wife will be crazy about that...
Looks like Green is winning on the poll so far...

I'd keep it Boysenberry Blue (purple) all day long. I like how it's blacker sometimes, but in bright sun it's definitely purple. People either love it or hate it, but it's grown on me.

I like it- looks nice... Just would be impossible to find a replacement panel in the event of a fender bender... Did you ever find a fender by-the-way?

Well I know I could find a green one lol. I never found a fender, I'm kinda half-assed looking for one. It's kinda cool to say I hit a friggin' bear when people ask what happened lol.

Wouldn't that be kind of like putting a wedding dress on a goat?
